Green chillies are a must-have in every Indian kitchen, adding that perfect zing to a variety of dishes. Here are five simple ways to use green chillies that you might not have tried before.

Grab 3-4 green chillies, press them down on your chopping board, and slice them as thin as you can. Use this to garnish your dish for that fresh, spicy touch.

Slicing is super easy. Just line up 2-3 chillies, grab your knife, and slice away. They're perfect for tempering or tossing into dal or sabzi for an extra burst of flavour.

These aren't fully chopped. Just make one single cut through the chilli, leaving it mostly whole. It infuses your food with flavour, & you can easily remove it once you're done cooking.

Take a chilli, slice it lengthwise, and then chop it into super tiny pieces. Mincing gives you a fine texture, perfect for stuffing.

For a bit of flair, hold the chilli straight but slice diagonally. This creates oval-shaped pieces that look great and work in all sorts of dishes.
