Tired of ice cream's ruined texture? You must be storing it wrong. Avoid these common mistakes to keep every scoop fresh and tasty for a long.

Taking ice cream out and refreezing it makes ice crystals. Always serve quickly and put it in the freezer immediately after scooping.

If you store ice cream in the freezer door, it makes its temperature swing. Keep it deep inside the freezer where it stays consistently cold.

Leaving the lid loose or not covering the container properly will let the air in. It can cause freezer burn. So, seal it tightly before storing it.

Scooping with a hot or wet spoon melts the surface a little bit, making ice crystals. Always use a dry, room-temperature scoop.
