We all use a casserole to store chapatis, but let's be real—they end up soggy because of the moisture. Here are some easy hacks to keep your rotis fresh and dry when storing them in a casserole!

Don't just toss hot rotis straight into the casserole! The heat creates steam, which will make them soggy. Let them cool a bit by placing them on a mesh sieve or wire rack.

Go for a bigger casserole! Extra space helps the steam spread out and settle around the rotis, preventing them from getting wet.

Place a cloth at the bottom of the casserole before adding your rotis, and then cover them with another cloth. This little trick keeps all the steam away from the rotis.

Place a small stainless-steel plate or rack inside the casserole, wrap your rotis in a cloth, and place them on top. This keeps them elevated and moisture-free!

Fold butter paper or foil into 2 or 3 layers and place it at the bottom of your casserole. Then, wrap your rotis in a cloth and place them on top. Super simple, but super effective!
