Spinach is a winter staple packed with health benefits, but keeping it fresh can be a real challenge. Here are simple tips to store spinach at home and keep it fresh longer.

First, check for any moisture and remove spoiled leaves. Then, gently wrap the spinach in a clean kitchen towel and store it in the fridge.

Trim the stems and toss out any unwanted leaves. Place the spinach in a newspaper, wrap it up, and then put it in a zip-lock bag for added protection.

After trimming the spinach, line an airtight container with a cloth. Place the spinach inside, wrap it in the cloth, & seal the container.

If you're storing spinach in an airtight container, make sure to keep it away from fruits that produce ethylene (like apples and bananas).

For long-term storage, cut the spinach leaves and place them in a zip-lock bag. Toss it in the freezer, and you'll have fresh spinach whenever you need it.
