Makki ki roti is a total winter essential, but getting it just right can be tricky with that crumbly texture. Here's how to nail it like a pro, without all the struggle.

Start by mixing salt into maize flour, & then knead it with lukewarm water. Add water little by little - going slowly here makes all the difference.

Go easy on the dough. Knead with a gentle touch so the flour doesn't turn overly soft or sticky. It'll make shaping those rotis way easier!

Once your dough's ready, make small round balls and roll each one gently. Too much pressure can crack the dough, so keep it light.

Flatten the dough with your fingers on a flat surface, or lay it between butter paper or polythene for smooth rolling. It's a game-changer!

Carefully lift your roti and place it on a hot pan. Even with all this care, they can still break, so be gentle. Cook on both sides, & you're good to go!
