Strong food smells like that of garlic, onion, or fish can linger on your fingers, making it unpleasant. These 6 simple hacks will help you remove these strong odours quickly.

Rub fresh lemon juice on your fingers for 1-2 minutes and wash with warm water. The citric acid in lemon will remove stubborn smells like onion and garlic.

Mix 1 tsp of baking soda with some water to make a paste. Rub it onto your fingers for a minute and then rinse off. It'll absorb and neutralise smells.

Just apply a blob of toothpaste to your palm, rub it between your hands, and rinse. The ingredients of the toothpaste will remove smells effectively.

Take used coffee grounds and rub them on your fingers for a minute. The granules absorb odours and leave a pleasant smell behind. Wash properly.
