Aam Chana Chaat Recipe in Just 15 Minutes

Aam chana chaat is a high-protein chaat made with the goodness of mango, chana, chutneys, & spices. This chaat has the perfect balance of sweet & spicy flavours, making it hard to resist.

Ingredients:

1 cup black chana, soaked and sprouted
1/2 raw mango, chopped
1/2 grated carrot
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 cucumber, chopped

1/2 tomato, chopped
1 tsp chaat masala
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Coriander leaves, to garnish

Step-1

Soak black chana in water and allow it to sprout. You can soak it for a day, then drain the water and tie the chana in a muslin cloth to let it sprout.

Boil the sprouts in water. Strain and keep them aside.

Chop all the vegetables and keep them ready. Mix the sprouts and chopped vegetables in a bowl.

Add salt, lemon juice, red chilli powder, and chaat masala. Mix everything well and garnish with coriander leaves.

You can also add shredded cabbage to the mixture. Boiled potatoes make a tasty addition too.

Serve with green and sweet chutneys, and top with sev for extra crunch.
