To make bread gulab jamun, you need 6 slices of bread, ½ cup milk, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, ¼ tsp cardamom powder, ghee for frying, and chopped nuts.

1. Prepare Bread

Remove the sides of the bread slices. Crumble the bread and mix with ½ cup of milk to knead it into a smooth dough. Divide the dough into small balls.

2. Fry Balls

In a pan, heat ghee on high heat. Fry the bread balls until they are golden brown to perfection. Remove on a tissue paper and set aside.

3. Prepare Syrup

In another pan, mix 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of water. Add ¼ tsp cardamom powder and bring it to a boil. Once it thickens, remove from heat.

4. Soak Balls

Soak the fried balls in the hot syrup for 15-20 minutes. Garnish it with chopped nuts like almonds, and serve warm!
