Butter chicken is a North Indian classic loved for its rich and creamy flavour. This Butter Chicken Pizza recipe gives it a Desi twist that is easy to make at home.

2 sandwich breads
2 cubes cheese (processed or mozzarella), grated
2 tablespoons butter chicken, shredded
5-6 capsicum rings
5-6 onion rings
Italian seasoning, to taste
Chilli flakes, to taste
2 teaspoons pizza spread
Cream, to garnish

Heat oil in a pan and caramelise the onions with a pinch of sugar. Set them aside for the pizza topping.

Add capsicum to the pan and stir fry lightly to retain crunch. Set aside for layering on the pizza.

Trim the edges of the bread slices. Spread 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce evenly on each slice.

Layer shredded butter chicken, caramelised onions, and crunchy capsicum on the bread. Top generously with grated cheese.

Sprinkle Italian seasoning and chilli flakes over the pizza. Grease a tawa or skillet with olive oil and heat it on low flame.

Place the bread on the tawa and cover with a lid or bowl. Cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes until the cheese melts completely.
