How To Make 
Prawn Biryani


¾ cup Curd 

1 cup Rice, half cooked 

200 gm Prawns

¼ cup Onion Paste 

½ cup Onion, fried 

3 tbsp Cream 


¼ tsp Garam Masala 

½ tsp Turmeric Powder 

1 tsp Red Chilli Powder 

1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste 

2 tbsp Coriander Leaves 

Salt to taste

Step 1

Coat prawn with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and ginger-garlic paste.

Step 2

Add onion paste and curd. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes. 

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan and cook the marinated prawns for 10 minutes. 

Step 4

Add garam masala, curd, cream, and fried onion. 

Step 5

Add half-cooked rice on top. 

Step 6

Add fried onion and coriander leaves.

Step 7

Add prawn mixture.

Step 8

Add rest of the half-cooked rice. Add fried onion and coriander leaves. 

Step 9

Seal the pan with aluminium foil. Put lid and cook on low flame for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
