Eggs are a kitchen staple that never disappoints. This time, we are turning them into a bold and flavourful appetiser- Egg Tikka.

Coated in a rich mix of spices, curd, and butter, it is perfect for any occasion. Quick to prepare and packed with taste. Here is how you can make it at home.

4-5 boiled eggs, 2 tbsp hung curd, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala, Salt to taste

1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp kasoori methi, 1 tbsp besan (gram flour), 1 tbsp mustard oil

In a large bowl, combine the hung curd, dry spices, salt, lemon juice, mustard oil, and gram flour. Mix well until it forms a smooth, thick paste.

Slice the boiled eggs in half, then gently coat them with the marinade. Let them sit for 10-15 minutes to soak up all the flavours.

Preheat your oven to 180-200°C. Grease a baking tray with melted butter or ghee, then place the eggs on it, cut side up.

For an extra flavour, place a small piece of burnt coal in a bowl inside the oven after the eggs are done. Let it infuse the smoky aroma for a few mins.

Garnish the egg tikka with onion rings and serve it hot with green chutney and a lemon wedge on the side.
