Garlic-Coriander Chaas Recipe For Summer Season

Chaas is one of the most loved summer drinks in India. It is light, refreshing and loaded with probiotics. What makes it even better is how easily you can tweak it to match your taste.

Ingredients

Yogurt 1 cup
Garlic 2 cloves
Coriander leaves 2 sprigs
Curry leaves 3–4
Roasted cumin-chilli powder ½ tsp
Black salt, to taste
Water, as required

Step 1

Crush the garlic and coriander leaves together using a mortar and pestle. Set it aside once done.

Add yogurt and water to a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy.

Add salt and the crushed coriander and garlic. Give it a good mix so the flavours come together well.

Transfer it to a glass jug. Drop in a few ice cubes and curry leaves for that instant coolness.
