½ cup Milk
7 tbsp Mawa
2½ tbsp Maida
½ cup Sugar

1½ tsp Cornflour
1 pinch Cardamom Powder
2 tsp Saffron Water
1 tbsp Dry Fruits

Add sugar and half cup water in a saucepan. Mix and let it boil.
Add saffron water, mix and prepare syrup. Keep aside.
Boil milk in another saucepan and transfer it to a bowl.
Add mawa to it and whisk thoroughly to avoid any lump.
Add maida, cornflour and mix again. Prepare a smooth batter.
Add cardamom powder and saffron water, and mix.
Heat oil in a frying pan and slowly add a ladleful of batter to it. Fry till the malpua turns golden in colour.
Soak the fried malpua in the sugar syrup for 2 minutes.
Garnish with dry fruits and serve hot.
