Want to make boiled eggs quickly without using a hob? Try using a microwave. With a few simple steps, you can get perfectly boiled eggs in just a few minutes.

One egg gives around 180-300mg of cholesterol, which is present only in the yolk. As per ICMR, the dietary allowance for cholesterol intake is 300mg/day.

2 eggs
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt (prevents eggs from bursting)

Take a microwave-safe bowl, add water, and mix in salt. Place the eggs gently in the water, ensuring they are fully submerged.

Microwave on medium power for 4 minutes. Let the eggs rest for a minute, then heat again for another 3-4 minutes, depending on your preferred consistency.
Once done, leave the eggs in hot water for 2 minutes. This ensures even cooking and prevents sudden temperature changes that might cause cracks.

Transfer the eggs to cold water for a minute. Peel the eggs, slice them in half, and enjoy them with salt and pepper for a quick protein snack.
