Fill your pressure cooker with water and let it boil for about 15 minutes. The steam will loosen up any stuck-on food, making it way easier to scrub off later.

If your pressure cooker's been sitting for a while since your last meal, add a little baking soda to the water. Simmer it for an hour, let it cool, and wash it up. The baking soda breaks down the grime like magic.

Toss a few onion skins into the cooker with water, cover the stains, and boil for 30 minutes. The natural oils will help lift the stains. Once it cools, scrub it down.
