If you are tired of the same old chilla recipe, this version adds a delicious twist to the classic. Follow these simple steps to make a flavourful, protein-rich breakfast.

Ingredients:

Besan (gram flour) - 1 cup
Eggs - 2
Onion - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Tomato - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Green chillies - as per taste
Coriander leaves - freshly chopped

Ingredients:

Ginger - 1 tsp (finely chopped)
Water - 1 cup
Salt - to taste
Pepper or Ajwain (carom seeds) - as per taste
Chaat masala - a pinch
Ghee or Butter - for cooking

Step 1:

In a bowl, mix besan, onion, tomato, green chillies, ginger, & water. Stir well & let it sit for a few minutes. If the mixture is lumpy, add more water gradually.

Once the batter reaches a smooth consistency, add eggs, salt, pepper or ajwain, chaat masala, and coriander leaves. Whisk everything well.

Heat a pan on medium flame and grease it with ghee or butter.

Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan, spreading it thinly. Cook until the edges turn golden brown and crisp.
