This trending milkshake is perfect for sunny days, and yes, it has coffee in it. Milkshakes are basically summer in a glass, and the best part is how easy they are to twist with new flavours.

This time, we are adding a little drama to the mix. Say hello to red velvet milkshake - with a subtle kick of espresso. It is chilled, creamy, and looks just as good as it tastes.

2 scoops vanilla ice cream
20 ml espresso
80 ml milk
3–4 ice cubes
1 red velvet muffin

Add milk, 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream, 2 ice cubes, and a shot of espresso to a blender. Blend it all for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy.

Now drop in half of the red velvet muffin. Blend again, but only for 3–4 seconds. You want that cakey texture, not a complete mush.
