Cabbage stuffed paratha is a tasty and wholesome Indian flatbread that works perfectly for breakfast or lunch. It is simple to prepare and full of flavour.

2 cups wheat flour
1 cup finely grated cabbage
1 small onion (finely chopped)
2 green chillies (finely chopped)
1 tsp ginger (grated)
Salt to taste
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala
Oil or ghee for cooking
Water as required

In a bowl, mix wheat flour with salt and water. Knead into a soft dough and keep it covered for 15 minutes.

Squeeze excess water from the grated cabbage and transfer it to another bowl.

Add onion, green chillies, ginger, salt, red chilli powder, and garam masala to the cabbage. Mix well.

Divide the dough into equal balls. Roll one ball, place cabbage stuffing in the centre, and seal it properly.

Gently roll the stuffed dough into a round paratha using dry flour.

Cook the paratha on a hot tawa with oil or ghee until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with curd or pickle.
