This chicken recipe is packed with flavour and can be a showstopper at dinner parties or even a fuss-free weekday meal. Here is a quick, healthy, and comforting coconut chicken curry that captures South Indian flavours - all in just 30 minutes.

1 Kg Chicken
200 ml Cream
100 ml Coconut milk
200 grams Onion (cut into small pieces)
2 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp Garam masala
100 grams Butter or refined oil
1 tsp Red chilli powder

Take a large bowl and add the chicken, garlic paste, ginger paste, turmeric powder, salt, garam masala, and red chilli powder. Mix well and let the chicken marinate for at least two hours.

Heat oil or butter in a pan. Add the chopped onions and sauté them until golden brown.

Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook on a low flame. Gradually add the coconut milk and let the chicken simmer until fully cooked.

Slowly mix in the cream. Add half a teaspoon of sugar if desired. Stir gently to combine.
