How To Make Condensed Milk At Home

Ran out of condensed milk and need it urgently? Fret not! Here's a recipe for thick, creamy condensed milk made using just two ingredients.

Ingredients:

2 cups full-fat milk
¾ cup sugar

1. Combine And Heat

Pour the milk and sugar into a heavy-bottomed pan. Stir well and bring it to a gentle boil on low to medium heat.

2. Simmer And Stir

Let it simmer uncovered. Keep stirring to prevent burning and allow it to reduce. This will take around 30-40 minutes.

3. Check Texture

You will know it is done once the milk looks creamy and has reduced to almost half. It should be thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

4. Cool and Store

Let it cool completely. Pour it into a clean jar or container. Refrigerate and use within a week! Whip up tasty desserts, sweets or coffee at home!
