This crispy Chowmein Samosa is a street food favourite that also works well for house parties. It pairs perfectly with chai or as a quick snack for guests.

The best part is that you do not need anything fancy to make it. With a few basic ingredients, you can put it together at home. Here is the full recipe.

For deep frying: oil
For the noodles:
1 bowl noodles, boiled
1 tbsp oil
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1/2 cup diced paneer
1 onion, sliced
1 capsicum, sliced
1 carrot, sliced
Salt to taste
2 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar

2 cup maida
1 cup atta
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp ajwain
Salt as per taste
Water (to knead dough)

Take a wok and heat some oil. Throw in the garlic and onions. Saute the mix till the onions turn pink.

Now add the carrots, capsicum, and cabbage to the wok. Stir fry everything on a high flame for 2-3 minutes. Do not overcook.

Add salt, soya sauce, and vinegar. Then add the boiled noodles and toss well. Once done, keep the mixture aside.

Take maida and atta in a mixing bowl. Add salt, ajwain, and oil. Slowly add water and knead a firm dough. Cover and let it rest for 20-30 mins.

Roll the dough into a round roti. Cut it in half. Shape one half into a cone. Fill that cone with the noodle mixture.

Seal the edge using a little water or oil. Deep fry the samosas in hot oil till they turn golden and crispy.
