Feni is a classic dish for sargi, and here's a super easy recipe that'll help you make it right at home. It's creamy, sweet, and full of that festive vibe!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup feni, 2 glasses of full-fat milk, 1/2 tsp saffron (kesar), Sugar (as per taste), 1 tbsp mixed dry fruits (cashews, almonds, raisins, walnuts)

Step-1

Soak the saffron in 2 tablespoons of water and let it sit.

In a non-stick pan, lightly saute the feni in some ghee until it turns golden brown. Set it aside.

In the same pan, add a little more ghee and roast the dry fruits until they're crispy and aromatic. Keep them aside too.

Now, pour the milk into the pan and let it boil. Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the milk thickens.

Stir in the sugar and saffron along with the saffron-infused water. Add the roasted feni and mix everything well.
