How To Make Goli Idli

Idli is a classic South Indian breakfast, loved for being light & satisfying. Goli idli is a fun twist you've got to try! You can easily whip it up at home. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:

 Water, Salt, 1 tsp Ghee, 1 cup Rice Flour, Oil, 1 tsp Mustard Seeds, Chana Dal, Sesame Seeds, 1 Dried Red Chilli, 3-4 Curry Leaves, Green Chilli, Ginger Paste

Step-1

Start by boiling water in a pan. Add salt and ghee, then mix in the rice flour. Let the water absorb completely.

Let it cool down just a bit, then knead it into a soft dough. If needed, add a little hot water to get the right texture.

Roll the dough into small balls and steam them for 10-15 minutes.

In another pan, heat oil. Add urad dal, chana dal, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, green chilli, curry leaves, and ginger. Let everything pop and crackle for 2-3 mins.

Toss the steamed idli balls in this spicy mixture until well-coated. Garnish with fresh coriander and dig in!
