Tthese sweet treats are not only delicious but also help keep you warm. Follow this simple recipe to whip up a batch at home.

1 cup Gond, 1 cup Wheat Flour, 1/4 cup Almonds, 1/4 cup Cashew, 1 cup Makhana, 1 Desiccated Coconut, 1 tsp Cardamom Powder, 1 cup Powdered Sugar, Ghee

Heat desi ghee in a pan and fry the gond in small batches. Make sure it's cooked all the way through-it should be crispy, not raw in the middle.

Set the fried gond aside. Next, roast the almonds, cashews, and makhana one by one in the same pan. Let them cool before moving to the next step.

Add a tablespoon of ghee to the pan and roast the wheat flour until it turns golden and smells nutty.

Coarsely grind the almonds and cashews, and do the same with the makhana.

Crush the fried gond using a ladle or any sturdy tool until it breaks into smaller pieces.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed gond, ground dry fruits, makhana, roasted wheat flour, powdered sugar, and cardamom.

If needed, warm a spoonful of ghee and add it to the mixture. Use your hands to mix everything thoroughly and shape the mixture into ladoos.
