Shikanji is usually the name used for sweet and/or salted lime water, but Indori Shikanji is totally different. It is a 'shahi' drink made with rabdi and hung curd. Check out the recipe:

4 cup milk
3 tbsp sugar
1 pinch saffron
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
2 cup hung curd
2 tbsp powdered sugar
Dry fruit to garnish

Begin by making rabdi. First, boil milk and add sugar and saffron. Let it reduce to half.

Cool it down to room temperature and add some cardamom powder. Chill it in the fridge for 4 to 6 hours.

Now blend hung curd, chilled rabdi, powdered sugar and some ice cubes to get that delicious shahi shikanji.

Pour it into your favourite glasses. Garnish with almond and pistachio slivers. Serve chilled.
