Jams are sweet, tangy and delicious. You can enjoy fruit jams made of mangoes, apples, strawberries, grapes, peaches and other fruits of your choice.

If you want to avoid store-bought jams, here are some simple steps to make fresh and tasty fruit jams at home.

1. Choose Your Fruits

You can stick to one single fruit or combine two or more fruits. Wash, peel and cut the fruits.

2. Cooking The Fruits

Cook your chosen fruits in a pan until the fruit gets soft and mushy.

3. Blending

Blend the fruits into a puree. You can also strain it if you want.

4. Cooking The Jam

Cook the puree on stove. Add sugar or honey along with some lemon juice, mix well. Stir continuously until you get a jam-like consistency.

5. Cooling And Storing

Let the jam cool off and then transfer it to dry and clean glass jars. Enjoy fresh jam on toast for breakfast.
