The mango season is upon us, and we are making the most of it by enjoying the fruit in every possible form. Here, we have a recipe to make mango ice cream at home.
Heat milk and sugar together and mix till the sugar dissolves.

Mix custard powder in 1/4 cup of the milk and add to the boiling milk. Simmer for some time.

Bring the milk to room temperature and add mango puree, pieces, cream and vanilla essence. Mix everything well.

Transfer it to an air-tight container and freeze. Take out, whip up with a hand beater and place back into the freezer.

Close the lid tightly to avoid crystal formation. Whip once more and freeze. And your mango ice cream is ready to relish.
