Everyone has tried mango ice cream, but have you ever eaten mango ladoos? Here is how to make this quick and delicious mithai at home.

Wash and peel a mango. Blend the fruit to make a puree out of it.

Preheat a thick-bottomed pan and dry roast 1 cup of desiccated coconut for about 2-3 minutes. Do not brown it.

Heat a pan and add 1/2 cup condensed milk, mango puree, cardamom powder and roasted desiccated coconut. Keep stirring.

Once the mixture reaches a doughy consistency, switch off the flame and let it cool a bit.

Pinch out a small ball and roll it between your palms to form a ladoo. Garnish with chopped nuts. Enjoy!
