Spicy and flavourful, masala idli is a tasty recipe that is loved by all. It is perfect to binge snack on at any time of the day. Here's how you can make masala idli at home:

To make masala idli, you need steamed idlis, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, chopped onions, green chillies, tomatoes, ketchup, and spices.

Take 8-10 idlis and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp mustard seeds and 1 tsp cumin seeds.

Add 6-8 curry leaves, 1 chopped onion, and 2 chopped green chillies. Saute until it is golden brown. Then add 2 chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.

Mix in ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, ½ tsp of red chilli powder, ½ tsp of garam masala, and salt. Cook for a couple of minutes until spices are blended.

Add idli pieces to the pan with 2 tbsp of ketchup. Mix all the ingredients. Let it cook for a few minutes and then garnish with chopped coriander!
