HOW TO MAKE
MOONG DAL BARFI

Ingredients

? cup Moong Dal, soaked

? cup Sugar

? cup Ghee

? cup Khoya

Ingredients

? cup Water

? tsp Cardamom, crushed

2 tsp Almonds, chopped

Coarsely grind soaked moong dal.

Step 1

In a pan, heat ghee. Add moong dal paste and roast till the colour changes.

Step 2

In the same pan, roast khoya till it melts and add it to the moong dal paste.

Step 3

Further add almonds and cardamom seeds. Mix everything well and grind.

Step 4

In another pan, place the sugar and water over low heat stirring till the sugar dissolves. Add it to moong dal paste.

Step 5

Mix it well and transfer to a greased plate. Once it sets, cut it into desired shape.
