1/3 cup oats
1/3 cup moong dal
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tspred chilli powder
1 onion, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
45 grams green peas
Salt, to taste

1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
2.5 cups water
For Garnishing:
1/2 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.

Add chopped onion and cook until translucent. Add ginger and green chillies. Sauté for a few seconds.

Add turmeric powder and red chilli powder, followed by chopped tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes soften.

Add all the chopped vegetables, rinsed moong dal, and oats. Sauté for a few seconds.

Add water and adjust the salt. Pressure cook for 8 minutes on medium heat. Allow the pressure to release naturally before opening the lid.
