How To Make Palak Paneer In 20 Minutes

Palak paneer is a popular North Indian dish. But the process can be a bit lengthy. However, we're sharing a delicious palak paneer recipe that can be made in just 20 minutes.

What Makes This Palak Paneer Special

This recipe doesn't require boiling or pureeing the spinach. Simply wash the spinach leaves thoroughly, cook them with garlic, green chillies, and spices, then mix them with the paneer.

Ingredients:

500 gram - Palak, chopped and washed
200 gram - Paneer, cubes
1 tbsp - Garlic, minced
3 green chillies, chopped
Half onion, finely chopped
1 tomato, finely chopped
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp coriander powder
Salt to taste

Prepare Palak First

First, clean the spinach, chop it, and wash it thoroughly 3 to 4 times. Set it aside to drain all the water.

Cook the Spinach

Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onion, and let it turn pink. Add the spinach leaves and begin cooking. The spinach will begin to shrink after a while.

Add Flavours

Once the spinach water has evaporated, add garlic and cook for a few minutes. After a while, add the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes.

Add Spices

Once the tomatoes soften, add the spices and cook for two more minutes. The spinach will be thoroughly cooked with the spices.

Add Paneer

Now, cook the paneer pieces with the spinach, stirring well. After a while, the oil will separate from the vegetable. Your dish is ready.
