Getting the perfect hard-boiled eggs can be tricky. If you boil for too long, these can become too tough or smelly. If you cook for a lesser time, then these can be too soft or runny.

Here are some simple steps to help you get those tender whites and golden-yellow yolks every single time:

Place the eggs in a large saucepan and cover them with cool water up to 1 inch.

Slowly bring the water to a boil over medium heat.

When the water has reached boiling point, turn off the heat and cover the pan with a lid.

Let the eggs remain in hot water for 10 minutes to get hard-boiled eggs.

Now, transfer the eggs to cold water. Peel, slice in two, and add then some salt and garam masala. Enjoy!
