How To Make Restaurant-Style Butter Chicken

400 gms raw Chicken
4 Tomatoes, chopped
1 tbsp Cream
Curd (to taste)

2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Lemon Juice

1 tsp Ginger

2 tsp Honey

3 gram Cloves
1 Cinnamon Stick, sliced
1 tsp Mace
7 whole Cardamoms

1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Kasuri Methi
1 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
2 tsp Cardamom Powder

Step 1

Place chicken pieces in a bowl. Add salt, red chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste and lemon juice. Mix well and refrigerate for 15-20 mins.

Step 2

Take out the chicken. Add curd, salt, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala, kasuri methi, and mix.

Step 3

Add mustard oil, mix well and refrigerate for an hour and then roast for 30 minutes in tandoor or oven.

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan, add butter, cloves, cinnamon stick, mace, cardamoms and stir well.

Step 5

Add chopped tomatoes, garlic, ginger and mix. Let the mixture cool down and grind it.

Step 6

Heat butter in a pan, add ginger-garlic paste and add back the tomato paste.

Step 7

Add red chilli powder, kasuri methi, honey, roasted chicken and mix.

Step 8

Add green chilli, cardamom powder, cream, and mix thoroughly.

Step 9

Your restaurant-style butter chicken is ready!
