Rice flour is a gluten-free staple that adds extra crunch to many dishes. Making it at home is easy and ensures top-notch freshness and quality. Here's how you can do it:

To make rice flour at home, you'll need 1-2 cups of raw rice. For the best results, use clean, high-quality rice.

Rinse 1-2 cups of rice under cold water until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch and any impurities.

Soak the rinsed rice in water for 4-6 hours. This softens the rice, making it easier to grind into fine flour.

Drain the rice thoroughly, then spread it on a cloth to air dry for a few hours until completely dry. Even a tiny bit of moisture can ruin your flour.

Grind the dried rice in a blender until it becomes a fine powder. Sift the flour through a sieve to remove any coarse bits.

Store the rice flour in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Keep it out of direct sunlight and heat sources. Use it in your favourite recipes.
