How To Make Sindhi Fish Curry

Sindhi fish curry is super simple to make at home. This flavour-packed curry comes with garlic, tomatoes, and a few basic spices. If you love Indian fish curry then try this recipe.

Ingredients

6-7 pieces of king fish
3-4 green chillies, chopped
3-4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp haldi
3 tsp oil
Water, as required
1 cup coriander leaves
Salt, to taste

Marinate First

Clean the fish properly and then sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, haldi, and oil on top. Rub everything in so that the fish is nicely coated. Let it sit and marinate for about an hour.

Make A Paste

While the fish is marinating, pop the coriander leaves, green chillies, and garlic cloves into a blender and grind them into a smooth paste.

Fry Your Fish

Heat some oil in a pan and shallow fry the marinated fish pieces. Make sure you cook them evenly from both sides until they get that nice golden edge.

Cooking Process

In a separate pan, add oil along with the green paste and a little water. Mix it up and let it cook for a few minutes until the raw smell goes away.

Spices For Flavour

Now throw in the coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt, and tomato puree. If it looks too thick, add a splash of water & let the gravy simmer nicely.

Arrange Fish Pieces

Place the cooked fish pieces in a serving bowl and pour that rich, spicy gravy right on top. Garnish with fresh coriander. This easy Sindhi fish curry is now ready to enjoy.
