Crispy bhindi is tossed in a flavourful homemade South Indian masala mix that adds a spicy and aromatic kick to the dish. Check out the complete recipe below:

Bhindi- 750 gm
Whole red chillies – 7-8
Peanuts – 2 tsp
Coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
Minced garlic – 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
Chana dal – 2 tbsp
Desiccated coconut – 2 tbsp
Salt To taste
Oil For Frying

Dry roast the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, peanuts, chana dal, and whole red chillies together in a pan until aromatic.

Allow the roasted spices to cool slightly, then grind them into a dry, coarse powder.

Add salt, desiccated coconut, and minced garlic to the ground masala. Mix well. Your delicious South Indian-style masala is now ready!

Deep-fry the bhindi until crispy. Alternatively, you can air-fry them for a healthier version.
