Perfectly seasoned and crisped on a tawa, spicy idli is an easy and delicious way to spice up your day! Here's a simple recipe to help you make this snack at home.

To begin with, steam fresh idlis or use leftover ones. Cut them into halves or quarters to make them easy to crisp on the tawa.

In a pan, heat oil and saute mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chopped onions. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala.

Heat a little oil on the tawa and place the cut idlis. Cook them until golden and crispy on both sides for a crunchy texture.

Add the prepared spicy masala to the crispy idlis on the tawa. Toss gently to coat the idlis evenly with the flavourful mixture.
