Teriyaki Chicken Wings are a delectable fusion of savoury and sweet flavours, offering a tantalising twist on traditional chicken wings.

1 kg chicken wings
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry using paper towels.

Place the chicken wings in a large mixing bowl. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the wings, ensuring each piece is well coated.

Toss the wings gently until they are evenly coated in the sauce. Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for a stronger flavour.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminium foil for easy cleanup. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared tray.

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Turn them halfway through the cooking time to ensure they are cooked evenly and develop a golden-brown crust.

Once the wings are cooked through, transfer them to a serving platter. If desired, brush them with a bit more teriyaki sauce for an added burst of flavour.
