1 1/2 cups cooked chickpeas, 10 small dates (pitted), 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 3/4 cup water, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract.

Begin by first roasting chickpeas at 190 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes. This will add a nutty flavour to the spread.
