1. Cool It Quickly

Spread the rice on a plate or tray to cool fast. Use a fan or place it near a window. Don't let it sit out for over 2 hours as it could lose texture.

2. Use Airtight Containers

After cooling, store cooled rice in airtight containers. This keeps it moist and prevents it from absorbing the smells from the fridge.

3. Refrigerate

Refrigerate rice within 2 hours of cooking. Quick chilling stops bacterial growth. Store it in a fridge as it can keep it fresh for 3-4 days.

4. Freeze

Yes, you can freeze the rice in small portions. Use ziplock bags or boxes. Frozen rice is perfect for a quick pulao, curd rice or fried rice anytime!

5. Reheat It Right

While reheating, add a splash of water to make it soft again. Use a microwave or pan, but reheat only once. It will taste fresh, like it's just cooked.
