How To Make Hyderabadi Red Chicken Curry

Ingredients:

500g chicken
1 tbsp garam masala powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp haldi
2 tsp jeera powder
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 cup curd

Salt
10-15 Kashmiri Red Chillies
6-8 garlic cloves
4 tbsp oil
2 cups fried onions
Coriander leaves (for garnish)

1. Marinate The Chicken

In a bowl, mix chicken with curd, garam masala, red chilli powder, haldi, jeera powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt. Let it sit for an hour.

2. Make The Masala

Soak 10-15 red chillies in warm water for 10 minutes, then blend them with garlic into a smooth, fiery paste.

3. Cook The Chicken

Heat oil in a pan, add the marinated chicken and red chilli paste, and cook for 15 minutes. Keep stirring until the oil starts separating.

4. Adjust & Serve

Add some water, cover the pan, and let it simmer for 20 mins or until the chicken is tender and the gravy thickens. Top with fresh coriander and serve hot!
