Instant Imli Chutney Premix

Love that tangy-sweet imli chutney but are short on time? This instant premix is perfect to whip up some delicious chutney in minutes!

Ingredients:

1 cup tamarind (imli)
1 cup jaggery powder
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
½ tsp black salt
½ tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp dry ginger powder
1 tsp fennel seed powder

1. Dry Tamarind

In a microwave, oven or air fryer, dry up the tamarind completely. Make sure it is completely dry and moisture-free to make it into a powder.

2. Make Powder

Once dried and cool, transfer the tamarind into a mixer grinder. Grind into a smooth powder. Sieve to remove any hard bits from the mixture.

3. Add Spices

In a bowl, mix tamarind powder, jaggery powder, roasted cumin powder, black salt, and red chilli powder. Mix well to combine.

4. Store And Make Chutney

Transfer the blend to an airtight jar. When needed, take the desired amount with water, stir until smooth and enjoy with your favourite foods!
