DAL MAKHANI

KETO-FRIENDLY

 Ingredients

50 gm Chironji Seeds 
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Cumin Seeds 
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Ginger
 Hing, a pinch
Salt as per taste

Baking Soda, a pinch
1/ 2 cup Tomato Puree
2 tbsp Ghee
1 tbsp Cream
1 Green Chilli

Step 1

In a pressure cooker put chironji seeds, salt, red chilli powder, ginger, hing and baking soda.

Step 2

Add water as required. Pressure cook till chironji seeds soften.

Step 3

Pour ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and wait till they crackle.

Step 4

Add green chilli and tomato puree. Saute and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 5

Add salt, red chilli powder and cooked chironji seeds. Mix well. 

Step 6

Add garam masala, cream and mix well. Serve hot, garnished with some more cream.
