Butter chicken is a favourite among non-veg curry lovers, but cooking it at home can be a daunting task. Worry no more! This recipe can be prepared in just 30 mins!

Marinate the chicken with yoghurt, ginger, garlic, garam masala, cumin, haldi, cayenne pepper, and salt. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

Heat some butter in a pan and sear the chicken nicely. Once done, remove it from the pan.

Add onions and saute well. Next, add butter, garlic, ginger, garam masala, cumin, haldi, cayenne pepper, and chilli flakes.

Cook until fragrant, then add tomato paste and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and add water and coconut milk. Bring the gravy to a simmer, then add butter and mix well.

Add the marinated chicken and cook until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and fresh cilantro. Serve with hot naan or rice.
