MOONG DAL

1 Onion 

? cup Moong Dal 

 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves 

1 tbsp Ginger 

1 tbsp Garlic

1 tsp Lemon Juice 

1 Green Chilli 

 1 tbsp Butter 

1 tsp Cumin Seeds 

1 tsp Turmeric Powder 

Salt as per taste

In a pressure cooker, mix together moong dal, chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chilli, turmeric powder and salt. 

Step 1

Add water and cook till dal is soft. Let it cool and grind it. 

Step 2

Strain the dal mixture. 

Step 3

Heat butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds. 

Step 4

Add dal puree and water. Bring it to a boil. 

Step 5

Add lemon juice. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
