½ tsp Ajwain

Salt as per taste

¼ cup Ghee

¼ cup Maida

1 cup Atta

Step 1

Mix atta and maida. Add ghee and rub in with fingertips to get crumbly consistency. 

Step 2

Add salt and ajwain. Then, add enough water to make stiff dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.

Step 3

Sprinkle some atta on a flat surface and roll out the dough. 

Step 4

Cut the rolled out dough into pieces of desired shape. 

Step 5

Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the paras till brown. 

Step 6

When the namak pare turn golden brown, remove them from the pan. 

Step 7

Serve hot or cool them down and store in an air-tight container.
