This one-pot butter chicken can be prepared in just 30 minutes, featuring juicy chicken pieces marinated and cooked in a flavourful tomato gravy. It tastes delicious when paired with naan and chutney.

6-7 chicken pieces
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp red chili powder
4 tomatoes
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1.5 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp cream
Salt, to taste

Heat some oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Cook the marinated chicken chunks until they are crisp.

Remove the chicken and set it aside. Add a bay leaf and cloves to the pan.

Add the chopped onions and cook until they are transparent.

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, red chili powder, kasuri methi, pepper, and garam masala.

Continue to cook until the oil separates from the gravy.
