You'll need cooked chana dal, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, green chillies, coriander, lemon juice, chaat masala, cumin powder, and salt to taste.

Rinse and cook 1 cup chana dal until soft but not mushy. Drain and set aside to cool before assembling the chaat.

Chop 1 small onion, 1 tomato, and 1 cucumber. Slice 1-2 green chillies and finely chop fresh coriander for garnish.

In a mixing bowl, add the cooled chana dal, chopped veggies, green chillies, and coriander. Toss everything gently for even mixing.

Season with 1 tsp chaat masala, ½ tsp cumin powder, and salt to taste. Squeeze fresh lemon juice to add zing!
