500 gm Chicken
1 cup Rice
1 Onion
1 tsp Coriander Powder
¼ cup Curd
Salt as per taste
2 Green Chillies
½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Cinnamon Stick
7-8 Black Peppercorns
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
2 Cardamom Pods
1 tsp Garlic
1 tsp Ginger
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves
Soak rice for 20 minutes.
In a bowl of curd, add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix everything well.
Heat oil, add cumin seeds, cinnamon sticks, black peppercorns and cardamoms. Let the spices splutter.
Add onions, garlic, ginger and green chillies. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the curd mix to this masala, cook for 5-6 minutes. Now add the chicken, cook till chicken is soft.
Add rice to the chicken. Mix well and then pour in some water. Cook till rice is done.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
